Showcase
The annual Home & Business Showcase held each spring is the Chamber's signature annual event bringing thousands of attendees and a major fund raiser for the Chamber. Nearly 3,000 attendees visit over 70 information booths during a 6-hour period between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Chamber members receive early mailings for exclusive discounted booth reservations. An integral part of the Home & Business Showcase is Career Day held the day prior to the Showcase. Career Day offers Newington High School students an opportunity to speak with local business people about career choices and future job opportunities. Exhibitors have the option to participate in Career Day.
A networking dinner social is also held on Friday evening prior to this event. The social allows exhibitors and sponsors to network with each other and is free for Chamber members and exhibitors.
The Taste of Newington is also held in conjunction with the Showcase and features popular area restaurants. Attendees have an opportunity to sample the cuisine from noon to 2:30 p.m. Restaurants can also promote their business with coupon offerings.
The Home & Business Showcase has a very successful track record. We recommend early registration to reserve the booth of your choice and to ensure your booth space due to early sell outs.
