Awards
Business After Hours

Co-Chair - John Ruocco
Meets weekly to develop professional relationships, exchange leads and testimonials.

Meets during the spring to select nominations for awards to be given out at the Annual Dinner and Awards Presentation.

Executive Director
Works with businesses to schedule upcoming events such as Business After Hours, Grand Openings, Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies.

Chamber Office Communications/Marketing Finance

To oversee office procedures and work with the Executive Director.

Chair - Chris Sparmer
Increase public and member awareness of Chamber activities and programs and encourage involvement in the Chamber. To ensure the Chamber takes full advantage of website initiatives.

Chair - Joan-Alice Taylor
To develop and monitor Chamber budgets. Provide the Board with recommendations on all Chamber financial matters.

Fund Raising High School Scholarship Meetings & Special Events

Chair - Agnes Pireh
To actively work on fund raising activities and events in order to acquire monies for future Chamber programs.

Meets during the spring and reviews essays to select a worthwhile high school senior for this scholarship.

Membership Home & Business Showcase  

Chair - Michael Crouchley
To actively recruit a variety of new members into the Newington Chamber while retaining existing members to better represent the business community.
