The Angel Statue was erected in October 2002 in memory of deceased Connecticut children of any age. Each October parents, relatives and friends, who have experienced the death of a child of any age, are invited to take part in the walk to remember and honor the children. Indian Hill Country Club

This private course built in 1899 has a hilly, links-style layout with very undulating greens and narrow fairways. Water hazards come into play on six holes. Since the course's driving range is short, the club restricts the use of woods. The facility is also popular for banquets and wedding receptions. Fees and hours can be found on the IHCC website. |

National Iwo Jima Memorial Monument

The 40-foot bronze and granite monument was erected by survivors of this battle. It depicts the sacrifice and courage displayed by Americans in one of the greatest battles in history. It is the only flag-raising monument dedicated to the memory of 6,421 Americans killed in action at Iwo Jima . |

Originally the location of a working sawmill in the 1860's, the area is now popular with bridal parties for its unique waterfall background. At 16 feet in height, Mill Pond Falls is recognized as the smallest natural waterfall in the United States . There is a footbridge over the water and a path that continues around Mill Pond. |
